Iranian-American journalist and broadcaster
Masih Alinejad worked as a journalist in Iran, reporting on government conduct and corruption. She later hosted “Tablet” on Voice of America’s Persian service. In 2014 she also launched My Stealthy Freedom, a campaign in which Iranian women shared photographs in protest against compulsory veiling.
Ambassador TRUTH is TRUTH Magazine’s honorary distinction for journalists, independent creators and educators, recognising rigorous verification, context and responsibility for published work. Submissions and voting run from 1 November 2026 to 12 January 2027. Recipients are announced on 15 January 2027.
