She combines investigative reporting, video and newsroom coordination across Asia and Europe, allowing documents from one country to be tested against a wider context. In 2016 she belonged to the Japanese team participating in the Pulitzer-winning Panama Papers investigation into financial secrecy and offshore structures. On the Implant Files she produced reporting about patient harm linked to inadequately tested implants, examining the tension between medical technology's promises and the protection of people. Her work also gives patients a voice and translates complex findings into visual storytelling that helps audiences understand the responsibilities of manufacturers and regulators.
